However, it has also been stated that the music during the Jacobite Rebellion was regarded as romanticized music in Scotland. The Jacobite rebellion was not successful in defeating the British, and that had led to the famous battle known as the Battle of Culloden. During the eighteenth century, without the advent of social media and internet, music used to play an important role influencin g the sentiments of people in relation to the Jacobite Rebellion.
